As my friend and I were planning our trip to Edinburgh in Scotland, we decided to drive from Yorkshire (our home) and make the most of the journey through Northumberland.
When I’m packing to go away, as well as reading through many of my favourite travel quotes, I find myself making a list at least a week in advance of things I know I’ll need when I go away.
I visited Lake Bled back in June 2018 with a friend from university. We booked the trip a couple of months beforehand as something to look forward to and get us through the torture that was writing our dissertations (something I definitely don’t miss now). It also gave us the chance to celebrate finishing our degrees and leaving uni!
This week is something a bit different to the blogs about my travels. Instead, here is a list of all the travel quotes I find inspiring.
So sit back, relax and make a note of the travel quotes that make you want to get up and pack those bags!
I thought it would be appropriate to end this Disneyland Paris mini series with something a bit different to my last few blogs – a ‘ten top tips’ blog for Disneyland Paris. I know when my friend and I got to Disney we were so determined to get as much done in the 2 full days we had in the parks (and we were very successful if I do say so myself). I think the way we planned our trip massively impacted on how much fun we had! So if I can help make your trip as good as ours, then it’s a win-win situation!
Imagination – “the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses”
Back in November last year, my best friend and I jumped on a plane to Paris to escape the real world and instead immerse ourselves in all things Disney! I’ve travelled with friends a few times now and I love it. This trip in particular, the friend I travelled with was on my wavelength every step of the way; laughing, joking and having the best time (shoutout to you boo, you’re the best travel companion a girl could wish for!)
Loch Lomond – Scotland, on a cold, wintry day in January … at first read it doesn’t sound like the ideal destination, does it? However, this statement couldn’t be more wrong. If you’re looking to spend a long weekend somewhere with endless views and picturesque scenery, then look no further.
